Czar’s Village

Vodka Czar’s Village is an exclusive super premium product, that has been made of wheat spirit «Lux» and purified water from Ladoga Lake. It has been distilled with honey and infused with raspberry leaves according to a unique recipe that was recently discovered in the archives of the Czar’s Village museum. This was the official recipe of vodka applied for Russian monarchial coronations, balls, masquerades.

Hand-crafted Czar’s Village bottle or «Shtof» is an exact replica of the Coronation Decanter once designed by Fyodor Schechtel, a celebrated Russian Art Nouveau artist, for the Russian Royal Family.

Schechtel was commissioned by the Russian Royal Court to design this decanter in 1913 for the 300th anniversary of the House of Romanov. The only surviving decanter, bearing the emblem of the Russian Empire and the monogram of Russia’s last Emperor, Nicholas II is kept at Czar’s Village Catherine Palace.

Shtof is a Russian unit of volume measurement corresponding to 1/10 of a bucket or a bottle corresponding to this volume.
